Brooke PeltzmanBrooke Berard, PsyD

Master of Arts (MA) in Forensic and Counseling Psychology Faculty

Brooke Berard, PsyD was hired in December 2010 as an adjunct faculty member in the MA in Forensic & Counseling Psychology Program. Dr. Berard earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. She completed her pre-doctoral internship working in the Whiting Forensic Unit at Connecticut Valley Hospital and Capitol Region Mental Health Center in Connecticut and completed a postdoctoral fellowship through Forensic Health Services and University of Massachusetts–Boston. She is currently the Director of Assessment at the MA Department of Correction Treatment Center in Bridgewater, MA, provides treatment services for incarcerated female sexual offenders at MCI: Framingham, and works at the Institute for Sexual Wellness, an outpatient clinic in Quincy, MA. Dr. Berard’s current research focus is on investigating risk assessment with ethnically diverse sex offenders.
