Faculty Biography

Dr. Weiner is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of practice experience. She has a strong background in psychoanalytic theory. Dr. Weiner trained as a psychoanalyst at the Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis (MIP). She was actively involved in the training of psychoanalysts at MIP, teaching at the institute and serving on governance committees. In addition, for the past 15 years Dr. Weiner has maintained a private practice in Brookline, Massachusetts. Previously, she completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral training at the Victims of Violence Program at the Cambridge Health Alliance. Dr. Weiner has a special interest in psychoanalysis, developmental theory and contemporary psychoanalytic theories of trauma.
