Dr. Jill Bloom is a core faculty member in the Department of Clinical Psychology, Co-Director of the Center for Multicultural and Global Mental Health, and Director of the Concentration in Global Mental Health. She currently teaches courses in Social Bases of Behavior, History and Systems of Psychology, Diversity and Cultural Psychology, Introduction to Global Mental Health, Gender Theory, and Women's Psychology. Dr. Bloom is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Massachusetts Psychological Association, and Congreso Interamericano de Psicologia. Her broad areas of interest are international psychology and global mental health, the social and cultural history of psychiatric diagnosis, and gender and sexuality. Dr. Bloom has presented widely at national and international conferences on international sex trafficking, global gender violence, transnational feminism, gender and sexual identity, and prejudice and racism.
