Miriam Kissin, Psy.D. was hired in July 2010 as an adjunct faculty member in the MA in Forensic and Counseling Psychology Program. Dr. Kissin earned her Psy.D. from Antioch University, New England. She has specialized in Forensic Psychology, completing a forensic-track pre-doctoral internship at Bellevue Hospital/NYU Medical Center in New York, and a post-doctoral fellowship in Forensic Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Law and Psychiatry Program. She has done research trauma/PTSD at the Trauma Center, in Brookline, MA. Her clinical experience includes working with patients in state hospitals and correctional facilities. She also has outpatient treatment experience, including working with individuals, families, and college students. Dr. Kissin is a Designated Forensic Psychologist with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has worked at the Worcester County Court Clinics, and is currently a Forensic Psychologist at the Federal Medical Center, at Devens. Dr. Kissin also serves as a consultant for Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission Disability Determination Services. She is fluent in Russian.
