Rhea Antonio, PsyD is a clinical psychologist in the Greater Boston area. She received her PsyD from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology 2009 with a concentration in Health Psychology. As the Director of the Rice Center for Young Children and Families, Dr. Antonio develops clinical programming to meet the needs of young children and families and provides parent-child, individual, couple, and group psychotherapy. As a staff psychotherapist at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy, Dr. Antonio co-leads a support group to address the needs of individuals with chronic medical conditions and sees individuals and couples across the lifespan. As a pre-doctoral intern at the former Wellness Community of Greater Boston, Dr. Antonio co-facilitated numerous support groups for individuals with cancer and their loved ones. In addition to working with the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy, Dr. Antonio has a private practice where she works with individuals and couples and provides disability evaluation consultation to the University of Massachusetts Medical School Disability Evaluation services. Dr. Antonio has special interests in infant mental health, parenting, women's health, trauma, and bereavement and works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in group and individual psychotherapy.
