Dr. Aberson-Sloboda has held executive positions in both education and the private sector.
Her work in education includes the position of department chair for Student Guidance & Education Services as well as School Program Evaluation Specialist. She held these positions in both Miami and Southern California, providing her with the opportunity to work among the largest culturally diverse student populations in the nation.
Dr. Aberson-Sloboda's work in the private sector includes Co-Founder and CEO of a successful dot-com. In 2007 the company was acquired by a Fortune 500, publicly traded company. Post acquisition, Dr. Aberson-Sloboda worked as an external consultant for the executive teams of companies including: IAC, Walt Disney, and Goodwill Industries.
Dr. Aberson-Sloboda's education includes a PhD and MS in Organizational Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. She also holds an M.S. in Counselor Education from Florida International University and a BS in Media Communications from Florida State University. Additionally, as part of her doctoral research, she developed the Personal Change Capacity Measure (PCCM), a behavioral assessment that identifies an organization's game changers.
Dr. Aberson-Sloboda currently works as an adjunct professor with William James College and is a partner in a boutique consulting firm that provides behavioral assessment and organizational development services for both the public and private sector.
