Tracy Fass, JD, PhD, was hired in January 2014 as an adjunct faculty member in the MA in Forensic & Counseling Psychology Program. She was hired as a core faculty member in August 2014. Dr. Fass completed her law degree at Villanova University School of Law in 2006. She completed her joint PhD in Clinical Psychology at Drexel University in 2008. She is a former Postdoctoral Fellow in Forensic/Correctional Psychology and Intensive Outpatient Psychosocial Rehabilitation at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Her research interests include juvenile delinquency and sentencing policy with a current emphasis on public opinion of sentencing policies and practices. Her past clinical and forensic experience has included assessment and therapeutic work with children, juveniles, and adults in correctional, inpatient, and outpatient settings. She has conducted evaluations including competence to stand trial, criminal responsibility, aid to sentencing, risk assessments, juvenile fitness, and civil commitment. She has also treated clients from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, and she has engaged incarcerated women in competence restoration.
