CLI LP785 - Leadership
Leadership skills are vitally important for clinical psychologists yet we sometimes assume that they are acquired through watching others. While there is power in observation, today’s evolving market requires clinical psychologists to assume positions of leadership with the skills and knowledge needed for success. This 2-credit course provides advanced clinical psychology students the opportunity to learn about the theories and models of leadership, to gain practical skills for leadership in mental health settings, community based organizations, schools, and non-profits. Students will also gain greater self-awareness of their personal leadership styles and leadership visions for the future.
