William James College
believes in the value of experiential education. Throughout the program,
students practice coaching each other, and they complete a formal
practicum in coaching. Students are required to secure their own client.
Faculty will provide guidelines for how to best meet this goal. The
students, in turn, receive supervision from a well experienced health
coach. During the eight week practicum, students also participate in
regular peer coaching with their cohort group. As students in the
program will come from different licensed healthcare professionals, a
cross-disciplinary perspective will enhance learning.
