This live webinar is geared to undergraduate student veterans and civilians interested in pursuing careers in psychology. Our Military and Veterans in Psychology (MVP) program provides an academic focus that prepares students to work specifically with these populations. Additionally, our Train Vets to Treat Vets (TVTV) offers student veterans paid research opportunities, and additionally, spreading communication throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on educating veterans about pursuing careers in Psychology.
This particular demonstration aims to educate veterans about the opportunity of pursuing a career in mental health. Our objective is to deliver information that explains the variety of potential career tracks within the field of Psychology. As an example, we will utilize materials from William James College (WJC) to supplement the presentation. Lastly, there will be a segment detailing WJC specific programs: Military and Veterans in Psychology (MVP) and Train Vets to Treat Vets (TVTV). We are happy to answer questions concerning benefits and other relevant inquiries.
