N-Squared District Closes in on Fundraising Goal

Key investors include local property owners and developers, TripAdviser, the City of Newton and local colleges.

"We are extremely gratified for the financial commitments we’ve received so far and look forward to reaching our goal and having resources to promote and market the entire N2 Innovation District as a destination where the best businesses, talent and community coverage," said Newton-Needham Chamber President Greg Reibman. William James College was mentioned in Newton Patch after N-Squared Innovation District was highlighted for closing in on their goal of $325,000. This district, along the Newton-Needham line, is being developed into a mecca for technology companies, start-ups and other innovators. The plan is part of a larger effort to bring startups into the suburbs while also creating new jobs within the district.
