Christy Harms is the Director of the Child and Family Evaluation Service (CAFES) and brings a wealth of experience to William James College. Christy is a graduate of Wellesley College and Harvard Law School. She served for 23 years as a highly respected Judge in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. Many of the decisions that she made were difficult and sometimes controversial. Before appointment as a Judge, Christy served as General Counsel for the Massachusetts Department of Social Services (DSS), now the Department of Children and Families (DCF). As a Judge, General Counsel and attorney, Christy has consistently demonstrated her deep commitment to the value of psychology-law collaborations.
