Research and Practice Interests

  • In an Institute of Coaching grant-funded study, we are conducting a randomized control trial of a positive psychology-based coaching intervention to help primary care physicians by enhancing well-being and intentions to remain in medical practice and decreasing their levels of stress and burnout. Results will contribute to a sparse research base on interventions to assist this vulnerable working population.
