Forensic Psychology Concentration
Class of 2022

Hey there!  My name is Kerri Kane and I am a Clinical Psychology PsyD student here at William James College from New York.  I completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City and the forensic concentration here at William James College was one of my major draws to this program.  I consider myself lucky that I have always known that my interests lay in the field of psychology and I found my niche in forensics fairly quickly.  I have field experience in working with a forensic population for any of you who may be considering forensics but have not had the chance to enter the field in this area!

Now, if you have been looking at some of the other bios of my fellow student ambassadors, you may notice that although I completed a Masters Degree, I am not an advanced standing student.  I am happy to discuss the ins and outs of the criteria for the advanced standing consideration with any of you who may qualify!

In addition to courses and field work, I am also a work-study student in the Admissions Office at WilliamJames College. So, if you have expressed interest in this program, you have probably heard from me already.  I would love to speak with any of you who are interested in WilliamJames College and would like to obtain the student perspective.

One of the best parts about WJC is the openness and willingness of staff and faculty to assist you to the best of their ability during the application process and once you are enrolled here.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have and I hope to see you in one of the incoming cohorts in the future!
