ORG HU670 - Foundations of Appreciative Inquiry
Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a strength-based process for building leadership, teamwork, trust and collaboration, enhancing employee engagement, and generating a spirit of creativity and innovation. AI is recognized worldwide as a revolutionary process for high engagement positive change. In this 3CR class, students learn how to use AI for organizational culture change, strategic planning, team building, supervision and management and community development. This experiential class teaches students to design and facilitate key steps in the Appreciative Inquiry process including how to form and facilitate a core team, articulate a change agenda, select affirmative topics, craft and conduct appreciative interviews, make meaning of narrative data, envision and enact positive futures, and support innovation teams.
