In her West-Roxbury office Dr. Kaminsky performs neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults. She has more than 20 years of experience in testing. The process includes parent consultation and school guidance if applicable.
Common referrals for children and adolescents include: learning disabilities, neuro-developmental conditions (children on the autistic spectrum), ADHD, emotional problems. Adults often seek testing for: medical conditions, TBI, substance abuse, mental illness, adjustment problems. Older adults are referred for cognitive and memory problems, dementia, emotional problems.
In her Natick office, Dr. Kaminsky treats children and adolescents with anxiety-based disorders using the latest in evidence-based approaches. Her approach, which focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is tailored to meet each child's needs as she works with parents who support and guide the process.
