School Leadership Services
A teacher might influence hundreds of students in a year, but a school leader influences thousands.
School Leadership Services
BHELS builds leadership capacity at the classroom, school and district level. From skills training to licensure to ongoing development and support, we are here to help every leader increase their impact through their actions.
Through their interactions, meetings, conversations and the expression of their vision and core values, leaders create the working climate for those around them. The skills to develop an effective and vibrant work environment can be learned and BHELS has a track record of developing leaders who have the communication and social emotional insights to foster a dynamic school culture.
Most educators feel fairly isolated, however teaming with peers can be one of the most effective ways to solve problems, foster improvement and rejuvenate learners. By helping leaders recognize and harness the power of teaming and collaboration, BHELS builds a leader's capacity to continuously improve.
Any progress worth achieving is worth measuring and BHELS can help leaders develop tools to capture progress and to identify adaptations that can further improve outcomes.
Whether you see the need to build leadership capacity, fine-tune skills or just review opportunities to strengthen the organization, we are here to challenge your thinking, support your planning, and provide the support needed to achieve the goals and improvements you seek.

Simulations are engaging, interactive, and realistic web-based scenarios that allow your team members to explore decisions and choices they face to improve decision-making, build resiliency and reflect on culture. Simulations also allow leaders to explore decisions and choices they face to improve decision-making, build resiliency and reflect on culture as they navigate real-life simulations together.
BHELS partners with Ed Leadership SIMS to utilize these simulation experiences to support preK-12 educators evaluate those situations effectively, identify possible responses, and choose the most appropriate solution.
Demands of stakeholders are so distinct—and often in opposition to each other. Much of the learning with SIMS is in managing the aftermath that is certain to occur no matter what decision you eventually make.
A shared experience
Navigate and learn from each other. What decisions were made? Why? How did they impact what played out? Failure is part of the blend. Learning opportunities are embedded in the work.
