In addition to demonstrating this collaborative model of organizing couples treatment, Dr. Treadway will also present a wide range of therapeutic strategies, protocols, and interventions for enhancing intimacy and sexuality, dealing with addictions and mental illness, and trauma recovery. This workshop will also demonstrate how to engage and motivate couples to do homework between sessions. Stuart Ablon, PhD, instructor Friday, May 4, 2018 9:00 am – 4:30 pm The Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach is evidence-based intervention that integrates the latest research on brain development, trauma informed care, and effective components of change, to help people develop skills which ultimately lead to decreased problem behaviors, improved relationships, and greater accountability. CPS was developed specifically to address the needs of challenging youth, and the adults who live and work with them, for whom traditional interventions have proven ineffective.
