President Rashaan D. Hall, Esq. of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts (ULEM) has launched a Health Equity Initiative, funded by Takeda Pharmaceuticals, to address mental health issues among Black men. Partnering with the Center for Workforce Development at William James College, the initiative includes a directory of mental health services, career opportunities in behavioral health, and a focus on representation and culturally competent care. The goal is to provide resources, create safe spaces for discussions, and develop workforce pipelines, ultimately improving mental health support and economic opportunities for Black men.
