Dr. Catherine Vuky, Assistant Professor and Director of the Asian Mental Health Program at William James College, was interviewed by Arun Rath from WGBH's All Things Considered. On the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon, she shared her family's experience escaping Vietnam and her journey to the United States. She also discussed how her experience shaped her professional life providing mental healthcare to Asian refugees, with a specialty in the Vietnamese immigrant population. At William James College, Vuky began the first Asian American mental health graduate psychology program in the country.
