What Do We Do in September? Revitalizing Our School Communities

When we reconvene our communities this September, what do we need to do to ensure that social, emotional and behavioral health needs are not only met, but that our communities can thrive?
William James College hosted a half-day virtual conference on June 3, pairing expert presentations with small group discussions, to invite participants to reflect upon the consequences of COVID-19 on their learning communities, to explore trauma-informed approaches to healing, and to identify resources and strategies to aid us as we forge ahead.
Videos of the event's keynote presentations are forthcoming. The discussion topics and materials provided on this microsite are meant to aid educators, leaders and others with planning for the return to school for fall 2021.
