This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the field of organizational psychology by exploring historical and theoretical foundations, essential models, and assessment methods used in organizational development and change management. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to various theories and models relevant to consulting and understanding individual, group, and organizational dynamics and the psychology of change. The course will also focus on qualitative and quantitative assessment methods, and students will learn how to design effective surveys and protocols to measure and evaluate individual and organizational factors. Furthermore, students will explore the ethical dilemmas, guidelines, professional standards, and values within organizational psychology. By the end of the course, students will have a foundation in the theory, models, assessment methods, values, and ethics that drive the study and practice of organizational psychology.
