This dynamic course sets the stage for how workforce planning can be synchronized with business goals by providing students with the strategic acumen and practical skills needed in the talent management field. Students will explore theories, models, and strategies to lead transformative talent management initiatives that enhance organizational performance. The course will focus on the beginning stages of the Talent Management Lifecycle. Students will learn best practices to identify and engage top talent using effective and inclusive frameworks for attracting, recruiting, and onboarding employees including competency model design and development. The course also explores talent management interventions at individual, group, and organizational levels that foster growth and development across the entire talent spectrum. Upon completion, students will understand the role of organizational culture in creating an environment that supports talent development and organizational growth.
