2023 Deborah Sampson Award 

Dr. Jenny D’Olympia, director of the Military and Veterans Psychology and Train Vets to Treat Vets programs and assistant chair of the Counseling and Behavioral Health Department, received the 2023 Deborah Sampson Award. Presented at the annual Women Veterans Appreciation Day Ceremony in Boston, this award recognizes a female veteran who has done extraordinary work serving her fellow women veterans throughout the year.


Statewide Conference on Advancing Veteran Suicide Prevention 

William James College was proud to host the conference Advancing Veteran Suicide Prevention: Military Culture, Moral Injury and Military Resilience on October 20, 2023. This conference is part of the nationwide Governor's and Mayor’s Challenges to Prevent Suicide in Military, Veterans, and their Families where communities come together to discuss, develop, and implement suicide prevention strategies.
