Dr. Carlene Caldwell has over two decades of experience in organizational development,
specializing in leadership
assessment, talent strategy, and workforce capability enhancement. She currently serves
as a Behavioral Scientist
at Verizon, where she leads the strategy for using assessments to support employee
development across the global
enterprise. In this role, she collaborates with internal and external partners to
research, evaluate, and implement
innovative assessment solutions aligned with Verizon’s skills-based organizational
strategy. Her work integrates
cutting-edge analytics, Generative AI platforms, and psychometric assessments to drive
talent development and
organizational growth.
Previously, Dr. Caldwell held leadership roles in People Development and Succession
Management at Cone
Health and contributed to talent initiatives at Volvo Group North America, Aon, and
Bank of America. Her
expertise spans multiple industries, including healthcare, transportation, finance,
and technology, with a focus on
enhancing leadership capabilities and fostering high-performing workplace cultures.
Dr. Caldwell continues to share her extensive knowledge as the Director of the Talent
Management
Concentration at William James College, where she earned her Doctorate in Organizational
Leadership
Psychology, and as a faculty member at Wake Forest University, where she completed
her master's degree in
Liberal Studies.
