Fall 2024 Orientation Dates
Attendance is required.

PsyD in Clinical Psychology
- Monday, August 19, 2024, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM on campus
- Tuesday, August 20, 2024, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM on campus
PsyD in Leadership Psychology
- Wednesday and Thursday, August 21 and 22, 2024
9:00 AM–4:30 PM ET at William James College (On-Campus Orientation)
MA in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Wednesday, August 21 from 6:30–8:30 pm ET on Zoom
MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

On campus program: Orientation is two days in person: Wednesday, August 21, 2024 and Thursday, August 22, 2024 both days from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Online/blended program: Orientation is two days. If you live within driving distance, you must attend in person, if not, you will zoom in (link will be provided later): Monday, August 19, 2024, and Tuesday, August 20, 2024, both days from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET.
MA in Organizational Psychology
- Thursday and Friday, August 22-23, 2024, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM ET via Zoom and on campus.
MA in Psychology
- Monday, August 19, 2024 from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM ET via Zoom
MA/CAGS in School Psychology
- Wednesday and Thursday, August 21-22, 2024, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
- Orientation is required and will be held on campus.
BS in Psychology and Human Services

All Full Time Students and Blended Program Students: The orientation is in person at William James College on Thursday, August 22 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
Students in the FULLY ONLINE Program: The orientation is online on Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM ET.
Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching

Orientation will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM ET on campus.
Graduate Certificate in Crisis Response and Behavioral Health
- Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM on campus.
Leadership Licensure Program/Graduate Certificate in School Leadership (LLP/GCSL)
- Summer I 2024 Orientation will be held virtually on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 6:00–8:00 PM ET.
For All Students
Our Student Services Office, comprised of Financial Aid, Billing and the Registrar’s Office, has a number of forms for you to complete before you enroll and begin classes.
- If you plan on applying for financial aid, please file your FAFSA application on www.studentaid.gov. For private loans, be sure to apply through www.elmselect.com. If you already filed your FAFSA and you haven’t received an award letter yet, please be sure to contact the Financial Aid Office (FinancialAid@williamjames.edu).
- Return your award letter with your loan request, and complete the two steps on page two of your award letter.
- Please refer to the Tuition and Fees Section of the website for information on tuition payment due dates, payment plans, refunds, and policies. All billing and refund questions can be directed to Bursar@williamjames.edu.
- Please complete the Financial Responsibility Agreement by logging into the CNS Student Portal and visiting the Document Center.
- If not done yet, you must request an official transcript to be sent from your institution showing degree conferred.
Please complete the following required forms and return to the Registrar’s Office before the start of classes:
- FERPA Initial Consent Form (Required)
- Incoming Student Information Form (Required)
- Authentication Form (Required)
- HIPAA Form (Required)
- Immunization Form (Required for all students, with the exception of online students and students in certificate programs)
- Religious Immunization Exemption Form (Optional)
- SEVIS Form (Required by Non-US Citizens)
- If you wish to transfer credits, you must submit a completed Petition for Transfer of Credit (see above listed forms) to the Registrar’s Office as early as possible upon acceptance.

If you plan on using educational benefits through the Veteran’s Administration go HERE. Please make sure you forward your Certificate of Eligibility to debra_boyce@williamjames.edu.

Student health insurance is required in the state of Massachusetts. The plan year runs from August – August. You have the option to choose the school’s offered insurance plan or provide waiver information to the school. Please look for upcoming information from studenthealthinsurance@williamjames.edu regarding this year’s plan.
