Bio
Danielle Morrissey is the principal of V. Igo Elementary school of Foxborough Public Schools. She has 15 years of experience as a school principal and has worked in Boston Public Schools as an Assistant Principal and as the principal of a large, urban turnaround school. Ms. Morrissey’s background and education reflect a rich variety of experiences as an elementary teacher and as an educational leader. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bridgewater State College in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Framingham State College. Ms. Morrissey began her career in education as a first-grade teacher. She has also worked as a Director of Curriculum Assessment and Placement, Assistant Principal and Principal. Danielle was a school leader in the Boston Public Schools for 8 years. She also was a principal in the Newton Public Schools for 5 years before joining the Foxborough Public Schools where she currently is and has been for the last two years.
