Organizational Psychology MA (Blended) Student Admissions, Outcomes and Other Data

Retention Rate

The one-year retention rate for those entering the Master’s of Organizational Psychology (Blended) program between Fall 2020 and Fall 2024 was 96% (45/47), where 34 were full-time and 13 were part-time.

Methodology: Retention rate is calculated as the number of students who enrolled in a Fall term of one academic year and returned in the subsequent Fall term, or graduated within the first academic year, e.g., retention rate = (# retained in Fall 2025)/(# started in Fall 2024). When the program length is one year or less, the retained count includes those who were retained one-semester later (e.g., Spring 2025/Fall 2024) or graduated within one-year of starting the program (e.g., # Graduated between 9/1/24 and 8/31/25 divided by # starting in Fall 2024). This retention metrics tracks students who return to the same program version level (program and modality).

Graduation Rate and Time to Degree

The Master’s in Organizational Psychology (Blended) program length is 1 year for full-time students and 2 years for part-time students. The 150% graduation rate for the most recent graduating cohort (24-25) was 92% (12/13). The average time to degree for this cohort was 12 months for full-time students and 24 months for part-time students.

Methodology: The full-time students entering 2023-2024 and the part-time students entering 2022-2023 were the most recent graduating cohorts who would complete their degree within 150% of the time.  Time to degree in months is calculated by subtracting the start date of the student from the date the degree was completed or conferred and reported in average months. The 150% graduation rate is calculated for full-time and part-time students separately. It is calculated by taking students who enrolled in the Fall and Spring terms of one academic year (the starting cohort) and graduated within 150% of the program length, e.g., 1.5 years for the full-time cohort and 3 years for the part-time cohort. Then it is divided by the starting cohort.
