IMPACT360 at William James College
Impact360 is a comprehensive, school-based program that strengthens student well-being, supports educators, and builds sustainable systems of care.
Across Massachusetts and the nation, schools are navigating a rapidly changing landscape. Students are experiencing unprecedented levels of stress, disconnection, and emotional overwhelm, while educators face rising burnout and increasing demands.
These challenges do not exist in isolation. They impact attendance, behavior, staff retention, and overall school climate. Schools have become one of the most important settings for prevention, early intervention, and behavioral health support.
Yet most schools lack coordinated, systemwide strategies to meet this moment.

Rather than adding another siloed initiative, Impact360 strengthens and aligns the systems, practices, and relationships that allow schools to thrive. Through strategic planning and implementation, it integrates customized supports identified through landscape analysis, including targeted educator training, behavioral health supports, workforce development, and family engagement, while aligning existing social-emotional and well-being efforts into one cohesive framework.
Impact360 is designed to:
Impact360 partners with schools and districts over multiple years to build lasting, sustainable change.

We begin with listening sessions, climate assessment, and system analysis to understand strengths, gaps, and priorities.

We provide whole-staff training, leadership coaching, and coordinated systems of support.

Through ongoing coaching and data-informed decision-making, schools strengthen implementation and expand student supports.

We build internal capacity, embed practices into school systems, and support long-term ownership and continuous improvement.
Impact360 integrates four core components that work together to drive system-level change:

Training and coaching equip educators, administrators, and staff with practical strategies to support student mental health, strengthen classroom environments, and reduce burnout.

Supervised graduate trainees from William James College’s PsyD, School Counseling, and School Psychology programs deliver direct and preventive support to students while expanding a school’s behavioral health capacity.

Targeted training and career pathways strengthen the skills and leadership of paraprofessionals, building a more diverse and community-rooted workforce.

Through the INTERFACE Referral Service, families are connected to timely, appropriate behavioral health care, with navigation support that reduces barriers and improves access.
Within three years, schools partnering with Impact360 can expect meaningful improvements across the school community.
For more than 50 years, William James College has been a leader in behavioral health education, training, and community partnership.
Each year, more than 1,000 students provide over 200,000 hours of direct behavioral health care across schools, hospitals, and community organizations. This deep integration of education, practice, and workforce development uniquely positions the College to support schools in building sustainable systems of care.
Impact360 is led by the Center for Behavioral Health, Equity, and Leadership in Schools (BHELS) and reflects decades of expertise in training, implementation, and system-level change.
Impact360 is both ambitious and urgently needed. Schools and communities are seeking long-term, sustainable solutions that strengthen student mental health and support the educators who serve them.
