Lauren Ignacio, MA is a Resource and Referral Counselor with INTERFACE at William James College, where she has worked since 2019. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University and is a pre-licensed clinician. Lauren has worked in the mental health field since 2003 and brings experience from a wide range of settings, including in-home, community based, residential, and group homes. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals and families impacted by eating disorders, complex family systems, and crisis situations. She is passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and supporting educational advocacy. As a Brave Space Clinician and DBT certified provider, she values creating an affirming, collaborative, and skills-based approach to care. Lauren is especially skilled at connecting families to community resources, so they feel informed, supported, and more connected to their communities. Outside of work, she enjoys letterboxing, traveling for good food, going to concerts, playing board games, and beachcombing. She values curiosity, connection, and humor, and brings those qualities into her work whenever possible.
