Staff: Niall Fitzgerald, BA

Niall Fitzgerald is the Provider Outreach Coordinator for INTERFACE Referral Service at William James College. Born and raised in Boston, he received his bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon and has been working in the mental health field since 2020. He joined the INTERFACE Referral Service in November 2023. While living in Portland, Niall gained experience working at a residential facility for folks with long term, severe mental illness, helping folks with their daily activities and leading outings and support groups. Upon returning to Boston, Niall gained experience working at a primary care clinic where he provided mental health coaching and resources to a wide variety of patients while collaborating closely with providers to coordinate care for members of the clinic. In his role at INTERFACE, Niall helps maintain our large provider database while also recruiting providers and groups to be a part of our database and collaborate with our service. Niall is passionate about doing his part to normalize the conversation around mental health and reduce the stigma that can often arise in the field that prevents folks from getting the care that they need.
