Darian Martin

Clinical PsyD Student, Youth and Family Psychotherapy Services

Darian Martin, MEd, is a fifth year clinical psychology doctoral student at William James College. He earned his M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling From Duquesne University. Mr. Martin has worked with children and families using multiple modalities in many settings including applied behavioral analysis, mobile psychiatric rehabilitation, in-home therapy, schools, and outpatient therapy. He has experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and trauma. Mr. Martin uses a client-centered and strength-based lens as he implements evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, rational-emotive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.  His goal is to help children and families become more effective in managing difficult emotions, managing difficult moments, and improving communication by building a strong and supportive environment.
