Research and Community Programs Assistant
Amanda Pettengill is the Research and Community Programs Assistant for the Center for Workforce Development (CWD) at William James College (WJC). In this role she works closely with the rest of the CWD and community partners, such as MIRA Coalition, and the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants to implement, evaluate, and improve community-based and grant-funded initiatives. She also provides support for the Community Health Workers Training Program and the Haitian Mental Health Network. Prior to this role, Amanda was an administrative intern at WJC who worked closely with the Community-Based Programs team and the Behavioral Health and Wellness Taskforce. She also worked to map local resources as a part of a behavioral health policy landscape analysis. Amanda has a strong interest in advocacy and is currently working on getting her Master’s degree in Public Administration at Clark University, where she graduated with her BA in 2025.
