I am a life-long learner who continues to seek out ways to challenge myself. I find the combination of knowledge and experience to be necessary elements to propel my motivation to help others. I found myself seeking an opportunity for knowledge and experience that would enable me to utilize creative and explorative ways of making a positive impact while challenging the systems we find ourselves in. So, I found William James College!

My background is in Restaurant and Culinary Leadership and Management where I am passionate about food, beverage, and people. Now, I am focused primarily on people’s learning, development, and empowering others while mutually learning during the process. The undercurrent of my restaurant and culinary interest is the ability to connect and nourish people. My experience connecting with people allowed my own leadership development journey to be centered in service. Cultivating psychologically safe environments that enable authenticity and inclusiveness enables my service to provide growth and empowerment for others.

Currently, I serve in a Human Resources Role at a Retirement Community supporting leaders and individual contributors on their journey. While my career has not been a linear process, I appreciate the journey, and each “pause “along the way has added a layer to who I am. Much of my professional and personal life overlap as bridging these identities serves my purpose of building connections. I have completed the inclusive leadership concentration where I continue to build on my philosophy that to lead people, we must understand people and the different elements of who they are while understanding ourselves.
