Matthew Carper, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Dr. Carper completed his doctoral training at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed his clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Carper is an expert in using evidence-based interventions to treat youth suffering from anxiety and/or OCD, as well as those suffering from behavioral sleep problems. He has received awards from the National Institutes of Health and the Society of a Science of Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Carper is currently an Assistant Professor at William James College, a core faculty member for the Children of Families of Adversity and Resilience (CFAR) and Clinical Health Psychology concentrations, is an Associate Director for the Center of Psychological Science, and has a small private practice.
