Concentration Neuropsychology
Class of 2029

My name is Tanu and I am a second year clinical PsyD student at William James. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and did my undergraduate at University of Massachusetts Amherst where I completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology.

I am a member of the neuropsychology concentration, and I am interested in specializing in pediatric neuropsychology. My research and clinical interests are diversity initiatives within neuropsychology and conducting assessments for pediatric medical disorders. My long-term career goals are to become a board-certified neuropsychologist conducting assessments for pediatrics at a hospital setting while also conducting research and teaching courses.

I chose WJC to purse my graduate education due to the plethora of field practicum sites to choose from as well as the established neuropsychology concentration here. I also appreciated the diversity at this school through professors and students and the welcoming community this program offers. The mentorship I have received from both my professors and clinical supervisors has been integral in my training and something I hope to continue building at my time at WJC. If you have any questions, I would love to share more about my experiences thus far at WJC!
