Hi, my name is Vritika Patel! I'm from New Jersey and went to the University of Pittsburgh for undergrad where I studied psychology and anthropology. I'm currently a second-year student in the Clinical PsyD program and am interested in neuropsychology and Asian mental health. I am a member of ACES, the Asian Student Association, and a graduate research assistant. I'm currently at a neuropsychology practicum site and am interested in working with adults and geriatric populations.
The opportunity to have first-year practicum experience at WJC is incredibly valuable. I was able to continue my hands-on experience, make connections, and build my clinical skills. Additionally, the teaching faculty at WJC are rich in knowledge and experience, creating classroom environments to be led by group discussions and real-life applications.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about being a student at WJC or about concentration-specific topics. Taking advantage of your resources is the best way to succeed, so don't hesitate to ask any questions!
