William James College’s Day at the Greater Boston Food Bank

Community Service Day

On April 22nd, a group of 10 William James College students and staff, volunteered their time at the Greater Boston Food Bank. As part of William James College's Community Service initiative, participants learned about the hard work that goes into supplying food to our communities in need. These regularly scheduled community service opportunities are open to the entire William James College community and are one way we show our commitment to social responsibility.

"I felt so good doing the work, I didn't want to leave when our shift was over. The experience was so moving for me, I went ahead and signed up to be a regular volunteer with the GBFB and went on a tour of the organization's new state of the art facility where I look forward to volunteering in the future" —Eileen O'Donnell, Director of Financial Services and Registrar.
