Profile Statement

Sam is a group psychologist who for 30 years has worked with organizations as a consultant, coach, and confident to many CEOs and senior managers. He is a specialist in developing teams, assessing cultures, leadership transitions, and leadership and organizational development. He also had an academic career at Harvard Medical School and drawing upon his academic and organizational backgrounds, he has created methodologies established on evidenced-based data that quickly and accurately identify behaviors and strategies that improve performance. His emphasis on strategic leadership helps leaders establish a vision, set clear priorities, create a climate for others to succeed, align short-term tactics with long-term goals, and develop a chain of strategic leaders in subordinates.

Sam received his BA from the University of North Carolina — Chapel Hill, and his doctorate in Psychology from Boston University. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Board of Professional Psychology and Past-President of the American Board of Group Psychology.
