Organizational assessment is an important skill for the organizational psychologist. By the end of this class, students will create an organizational assessment, program the assessment online, collect data, and analyze the results using statistical methodology appropriate for the assessment. Through this class students will demonstrate fluency with the fundamentals of research design, research questions, and hypotheses. Students will examine quantitative data to gain a broad understanding of basic statistical methods including measures of central tendency, variability, and correlations. In addition, students will evaluate psychometric properties of their assessments including validity, reliability and test dimensionality.
