Statistics and Research Methods II (SRM II) is a one-semester course in research methodologies and statistical data analysis. The goal of this course is to familiarize the student with the broad range of methodologies used to create the research foundations of empirically based approach to organizational and leadership questions. Included are the conceptual frameworks of research, formulating research questions, critically reviewing research studies, creation of research designs consistent with the research questions, ethical and procedural issues in participant solicitation and contracting, data collection, and analysis and interpretation of data. An experiential learning / case study based approach is used in which participants will create and conduct a research study as a method of identifying key issues in research design.
