New England Psychologist: Fear and Xenophobia Surround Coronavirus

Members of Chinese communities in the U.S. and elsewhere have reported incidents of mistreatment, harassment, bullying and bias related to the outbreak of the coronavirus. Dr. Catherine Vuky, assistant professor of Clinical Psychology and director of the Asian Mental Health Concentration, spoke with New England Psychologist about the harm this causes and also offered advice for parents about how to speak with children.
