Boston Herald, Letter to the Editor

William James College professor Gerald Sweet, PhD, wrote to the Boston Herald about the importance of training law enforcement to work with mental health professionals to properly handle crises involving those with serious mental illness. According to Dr. Sweet, this type of collaboration has been in existence for decades, and it is time to make this the standard response capability for law enforcement across the country.
