Training Vets to Treat Vets on WBUR May 28, 2018

The only state endorsed government program to train U.S. Veterans to provide mental health care to other returning veterans, our Train Vets to Treat Vets program has grown immensely from fewer than 5 vets in 2012 to more than 40 veterans today. On Memorial Day 2018, WBUR ran a segment highlighting the program’s immense growth as well as commentary from Associate Program Director Travis Bickford, a veteran himself, on the importance of recognizing the contributions veterans can bring to society after returning to civilian life.
