I am a Warwick, Rhode Island, resident in my second year at William James College, pursuing a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in School Psychology. My decision to join William James College's school psychology program was influenced by the program's dedicated focus on preparing students with the skills and knowledge to serve diverse student populations.

I am currently a Center for Multicultural and Global Mental Health (CMGMH) and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Initiative (CAHMI) fellow. Additionally, I am a certified social change mentor through CMGMH. I have had the opportunity to mentor undergraduate students in William James College's B.S. in Psychology and Human Services program.

With a concentration in Children and Families of Adversity and Resilience (CFAR), my professional interests revolve around best practices for assessing multilingual learners and culturally sensitive assessments. I am proficient in English and Spanish, reflecting my commitment to addressing the diverse needs of the students I aim to support.

My advice to incoming students is to make the most of the resources available at William James College. This includes the Academic Resource Center, webinars, workshops, and the Dean of Students Office. I also encourage involvement in committees, campus initiatives, or concentrations. Lastly, I encourage students to build a strong relationship with their cohorts to enhance their college experience.
