This course helps students synthesize their experiences in the program by guiding them in the production of a scholarly project that illustrates their understanding of relevant topics in forensic mental health, the scope of contemporary practice, and the various roles of the professional mental health counselor. Students will be offered instruction in selecting a topic and developing a line of inquiry, conducting a literature search and review, writing a substantial paper and organizing a scholarly presentation. . (Students enrolled in the Latino Mental Health Program must choose a topic that includes the Latino population). Co-requisite: FP615.
