ABAI Course Verification

VCS ABAI Logo

The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination. This means that our students can take the exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) without an additional coursework review by ABAI. Contingent upon passing the exam, graduates can also become a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in Massachusetts (a separate application applies). Many jobs, particularly those that involve supervisory roles, require the BCBA certification and/or licensure in ABA. This is an important outcome to consider for any graduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis.

BACB Course Content Allocation (5th Edition)

The course sequence surpasses the minimum number of hours of instruction in several different areas that is required by the BACB. As a result, our graduates will be well-prepared for the national exam for board certification and for professional work after certification.
