Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate (On Campus) Student Outcomes

Retention Rate

This program began in Fall 2020. The one-year retention rate for those entering the Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (On Campus) program will be calculated one-year after the first entering cohort.

Methodology: Retention rate is calculated as new students who enrolled in a Fall term of one academic year and came back the subsequent Fall term, e.g. retention rate = (Fall 2018)/(Fall 2017). When the program length is one year or less, semester to semester retention is calculated, e.g., retention rate = (Spring 2019)/(Fall 2018).

Graduation Rate and Time to Degree

The Certificate in ABA (On Campus) program length is 1.5 years. The 150% graduate rate and time to degree for the cannot be calculated at this time as this is a new program.

Licensure

Certification and Licensure is not required to work as a Behavior Analyst.

The Board Certified Behavioral Analysis (BCBA and BCBA-D) exam in Massachusetts is taken after students receive their Master’s degree. Graduates of the Master’s program have up to five years to complete the exam after graduating.
