Dr. Jenny D’Olympia, assistant chair of counseling and behavioral health department, director of the Online MA in Psychology program, and interim director of the Military and Veterans Psychology (MVP) Concentration and Train Vets to Treat Vets program, joined Jill Garvin, psychological health director of the Massachusetts Air National Guard’s 102nd Intelligence Wing, for a recent episode of the 102nd’s official podcast. D'Olympia offered advice on staying socially connected, and connected in relationships, in light of current events.

Dr. D'Olympia has been in the mental health field for nearly 18 years. She has had the opportunity to work and train in a diverse range of settings, including counseling veterans returning from Operations Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Iraqi Freedom (OIF) at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Boston Vet Center. Prior to her career in mental health, Dr. D’Olympia served in the United States Air Force Special Operations Command as an intelligence officer charged with supporting Special Tactics operators across the spectrum of combat and training operations.
