Speak Freely!
Many people get anxious when speaking in a variety of situations, including participating in class discussions, giving a formal presentation, interviewing for jobs, and networking at career fairs. This type of anxiety is not uncommon and can be mastered with some simple cognitive-behavioral strategies, relaxation techniques and practice. You will learn concrete strategies and also have the opportunity to share a brief narrative with confidence. If this sounds of interest, please join us for a two-part workshop in a relaxed/supportive environment. Facilitated by: Allyson Cherkasky, PhD, Associate Professor, Counseling and Behavioral Health Department & Meridith Apfelbaum, MS, Assistant Dean of Students (You are welcome to bring your lunch)
